LABORATORY FACILITIES
Our department has four research laboratories affiliated with the General Biology and Molecular Biology divisions. The current research facilities include a 500 MHz Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectrometer, a high-performance thin-layer chromatography (HPTLC) system, a gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) system, a high-pressure liquid chromatograph (HPLC), a UV/VIS spectrophotometer, an infrared spectrometer (IR), a medium-pressure liquid chromatograph (MPLC), an MPLC column packing unit, lyophilizer, polarimeter, parallel evaporator, concentrator, plant grinding mill, rotary evaporator, PCR instruments, -80°C freezer, -20 and +4 °C refrigerators, centrifuges of various sizes, an electroporator, plant growth chambers, DNA and protein gel electrophoresis systems, gel imaging systems, incubators, a sterile cabinet, fume hoods, and microscopes.
